What SpotPark does

SpotPark helps you remember where you parked and run a parking meter / time-limit countdown with reminders.



Location use (foreground only):

                          • Save a spot: one-shot location when you choose to save (or open the save sheet) — not continuous tracking while browsing.

                          • Find your car: while the Find-car / active-session compass UI is on screen, SpotPark may update your location continuously in the foreground so the arrow can point toward your saved spot and show distance. Updates stop when you leave that screen or end the parking session.

                          • SpotPark does not track your location in the background. There is no always-on location stream during normal browsing or after you leave Find-car.

                          • Information we handle

                          • Location (optional): with your permission — (1) one-shot when you save a parking spot or request directions, and (2) continuous foreground updates only while Find-car guidance is visible so the compass can point you back. Location stays on your device for the active spot; it is not uploaded to Ocean Digital Group servers for advertising or profiling.

                          • Device sensors (compass): rotation / magnetometer readings are used on-device to orient the Find-car arrow; they are not sent off the device.

                          • Photos (optional): if you attach a photo of your parking location; stored on your device for that spot.

                          • Parking details you enter: notes, labels, timestamps, timer settings — kept on your device.

                          • Purchases (optional): if you buy SpotPark Pro, Google Play Billing and RevenueCat process the subscription. We do not receive your full payment card number. A device identifier may be sent to RevenueCat when billing features initialize.

                          • Diagnostics: limited crash/performance data may be collected to keep the app reliable.

                          • Create required user accounts, sell your information, use your parking history to advertise to you, or track your location in the background without your action.

                          • Google Play — billing if you purchase.

                          • RevenueCat — device identifier and purchase/subscription status if billing is configured.

                          • We do not sell or rent user data.

                          • Map tiles (OpenStreetMap via osmdroid) may receive standard network requests when you view the map; that is separate from storing your parking pin.

                          • Retention and deletion

                          • SpotPark stores spots and history on your device. Clear app storage or uninstall to remove local data. Email support@oceandigitalgroup.com for deletion requests about anything we hold.

                          • Data sent off the device uses HTTPS. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.

                          • Children

                          • SpotPark is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

                          • Changes

                          • We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
